Vicar's Message

Fr Tiju Varghese Vellappallil

The future is created through our past thoughts, words and actions. The future is the reaping of the seeds that we have sown in the past, whether those seeds are good or bad. Each sustained thought, every word we utter, and every action we take is a seed we will reap in our future

To create a beautiful future, make as many of your thoughts as possible good ones, speak good and kind words, and make sure your actions come from goodness.

Your future depends upon it.

God Bless You

Fr Tiju Varghese Vellappallil

“Pray! And listen to God!
You can do this alone, but find somebody to do it with you”

Secretary’s Message

The Malankara Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in Abu Dhabi was established on November 21, 1968. However, the community faced challenges from individuals who betrayed their church for personal gain and financial motives. These individuals failed to foster a faithful and loyal community aligned with the Holy See of Antioch and the Holy Church.

This unfortunate situation led to attempts to commercialize spiritual faith and propagate false beliefs. In the words of the Holy Father, the importance of standing with even one believer to maintain the connection with the Holy Church of Antioch is underscored.

The Holy Pope described the Church of Antioch as the Church of Martyrs, emphasizing the significance of faith and sacrifice.

As we enter the year 2023, it is envisioned as a time of positive change for the parish, marked by love and unity. The committee is committed to implementing various projects aimed at overcoming challenges and ensuring successful progress. The hope is for prosperity and success, and the community is urged to contribute through prayers, assistance, cooperation, and suggestions.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the UAE Government and Abu Dhabi Rulers for allowing freedom of worship to all believers.

Let us collectively pray for prosperous victories for everyone, seeking the intercession of St. Stephen.

With love and prayers,

Eldo Arun Joseph, Church Secretary
